Our curriculum

Our school curriculum consists of all learning and experiences that we plan for our pupils.  It aims to have a balance between all the subject areas and promotes the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of all pupils.  Its purpose is to prepare students for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences that they will encounter as they grow.  It provides pupils with an introduction to the essential knowledge they need to be citizens and helps to engender an appreciation of human creativity and achievement. The National Curriculum forms the basis of the lessons we teach.  In addition, we seize opportunities for the children to have rich learning by having practical lessons, having creative activities, going on trips and having visits which are relevant to their work.
